You own the personal rights to your song. However if you are planning on selling/distributing your MyTuneForYou.com personal song for profit please contact info@MyTuneForYou.com
3. What does my song include?
A vocal and a guitar. As a songwriter I am a firm believer that less is more. Whatever you decide to write in the box, I will try to incorporate into your song.
4. Can I write a song for Myself?
Absolutely! I only know what is written in the boxes and since it is MyTuneForYou.com, I think it would be great to have a song written for yourself.
5. How long does the process usually take?
You will receive your MyTuneForYou.com song within a week. Remember that writing is only half of the process, I also have to Record and Mix your song. I will do my best to get it to you as soon as possible. Note: Process may be delayed if you decide to receive the Song on a Hard Copy CD rather than as a digital Mp3 music file download on the MyTuneForYou.com Music Page.
6. Do I have a chance to approve the song or if I don’t like it will you redo it?
Just like purchasing any product out there, the song is final. However, if for some reason you are not happy with your final product I will do my best to accommodate your needs. Please feel free to contact me personally @ info@mytuneforyou.com so we can work something out.
7. How frequently do you reuse the music? For example: Is the song I purchased for my Mother the same as the one I would like written for my Brother?
Never. As a professional singer/songwriter, I take writing your song very seriously and I’m a huge fan of keeping things spontaneous and new. You should see how many songs I have around my house I haven’t even touched upon! The truth is: Writing a birthday song is going to have a different feel/tone compared to a song written for Valentines Day. It depends on the Special Occassion and what you write in the box. I do my best to make every song I write YOUR SONG and not someone else's.
8. Will you be using the songs for your own personal use or promotion?
Yes. I do give MyTuneForYou.com the right to use your song for promotional purposes. However, I will not do this without the MyTuneForYou.com recipient’s consent. In other words, if I would like to use your song on MyTuneForYou.com I will get your permission before I proceed further.
9. Can I do half the process and let MyTuneForYou.com do the other half? For example if I am a Poet can I send you my words and you put them into a song for my MyTuneForYou.com recipient?
Sure. Although if you are a poet, some times I might not fully understand the message you are trying to convey and it might be difficult for me to include all your words in the song based on the simple premise that a song must have certain rhyme schemes to make it work and flow with a given melody. Your best option is to contact info@MyTuneForYou.com so you can tell me in your own words what you would like. Please note: This is going above and beyond what MyTuneForYou.com specializes in therefore an extra fee might be required for these services.
10. Is there a ghostwriter’s option? In other words could I pay you for a song and tell everyone else that I wrote it?
